This web log is a personal endeavor. The concept started simply. As an aspiring artist with a strong attraction to printmaking media, I decided that interviewing artists whose work I admired would be a big benefit to my own development as a printmaker.
In thinking through the concept, it became clear that if these artists were to commit their time to an interview, I needed to provide something commensurate. And this web log is an attempt to do just that. The interviews will be published here, and provide links to the artist’s online presence, photos of them and their artwork, so that fellow printmakers can be inspired by them. This will hopefully also provide additional exposure for their work and services to interested parties, such as buyers, exhibitors, agents, and students.
